Cloud consulting and DevOps services
Make infrastructure and software releases easier to understand and operate. Brolly provides cloud consulting, migration planning, deployment automation and observability using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
Start with the work you need to improve
This service fits teams with manual deployments, infrastructure that is difficult to reproduce, or a migration that must preserve existing workflows. Begin with the current system and its operating constraints before choosing a new platform.
Cloud architecture and migration planning
Inventory applications, databases, dependencies and access rules. Identify what can move together and what needs a staged transition. A useful migration plan includes data checks, a cutover sequence and a rollback decision, not only a diagram of the destination.
Infrastructure and delivery automation
Use infrastructure as code and container-based deployment where they fit the workload. Separate development, staging and production responsibilities, and make build and release steps repeatable. CI/CD connects those steps to the checks a release must pass.
Observability and operational ownership
Agree which logs, metrics and alerts identify a real service problem. Review who responds, how they diagnose it and what recovery requires. Hosting spend, availability needs and support coverage should be discussed together rather than optimised in isolation.
What to bring to discovery
- Current hosting, deployment steps and infrastructure access
- Dependencies, data volumes and downtime constraints
- Existing monitoring, backup and recovery procedures
- Budget boundaries and the team responsible after release
Work you can inspect
See the deployed platform architecture
The case study documents a Docker-based application with PostgreSQL, Redis and a separate API layer.
Cloud & DevOps: common questions
Is cloud migration the same as DevOps?
Migration changes where a system runs. DevOps work improves how it is built, tested, released and operated. A migration may include DevOps changes, but either can also be scoped separately.
Do all applications need Kubernetes?
No. The choice depends on workload, deployment complexity and the team that will operate it. A simpler container deployment may be easier to maintain. Architecture review comes before selecting tools.
Can you support a platform after migration?
Managed support is one of Brolly’s engagement models. Coverage, responsibilities, service levels and exclusions are agreed for the particular platform.
