Privacy Policy

Berry's Number Trail is an educational app for children aged 4–12, operated by Brolly Software Solutions Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, India. Contact: brollysolutions.in@gmail.com.

What we collect

When a parent or guardian creates an account we collect the parent's name, mobile number, and (optionally) an email address. As the child plays, we store game progress (levels completed and stars earned). The app does not request access to contacts, photos, or GPS location. Advertising-related technical data is described below.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information directly from a child. Sign-in is intended for a parent or guardian, and the mobile number we hold is the adult's, not the child's.

Why we collect it

The mobile number verifies the account with a one-time SMS code; the name personalises the app; progress is stored so a child can continue on any device. Only a parent or guardian should complete sign-in. This policy explains our data practices.

Where your data lives

Data is stored with Supabase in the Mumbai (India) region and is encrypted in transit. Access controls ensure each account can only see its own data.

Who else processes it

We share the mobile number with 2factor.in, an India-based SMS provider, for the sole purpose of delivering the one-time verification code. Google AdMob also processes advertising-related technical data as described below. We do not sell parent account details or game progress.

How long we keep it

Account details and progress are kept while the account is active. If an account is unused for 24 months, or when deletion is requested, the data is removed. Verification logs used to prevent abuse are kept for 90 days.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time, by writing to brollysolutions.in@gmail.com. Grievances regarding personal data are handled by our Grievance Officer at the same address, and we respond within 30 days as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Advertising and technical data

The Android app displays banner and occasional full-screen advertisements from Google AdMob. We configure ad requests for child-directed treatment, users under the age of consent, general-audience content, and non-personalized ads. We remove Android advertising-ID and AdServices permissions from the app.

To deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google's advertising SDK may process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), ad interactions, diagnostic information, and identifiers such as the app set ID. Disabling personalized ads does not disable all technical data processing. We do not pass parent names, phone numbers, email addresses, or saved game progress to AdMob.

Advertising data is processed by Google and may be processed outside India. Google's retention and privacy practices apply to data it processes; our account deletion service removes the account data we control. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, notify the registered mobile number or email.
